Description
On Friday afternoon, my village was put on evacuation order due to a wildfire burning closely. I was at work, so we closed and went home to pack. My husband and I were going to stay and protect our home the best we could. It didn't take the fire long and it had reached town, burning along the mountain behind our home. The helicopters were working non-stop to put the fires out at the outskirts of town and structural crews were setting up water and sprinklers on our neighbours homes. This was taken from our home as they were filling their tanks with the closest water source, the lagoons. Clinton BC
